Grilled Monte Cristo Sandwich

1 cup

Thick Bread
Sliced Ham
Sliced Turkey
Swiss Cheese
Blended with:
Milk (to form batter)
Preserves
Powdered Sugar

Preparation
  1. Place 1 slice of cheese on each slice of bread.
  2. Place ham and turkey on top of one slice and close sandwich.
  3. Dip sandwich into egg batter ( both sides) and let excess run off.
  4. Place on hot grill and cover
  5. Remove sandwich from grill and slice into triangles
  6. Serve on warm, large, china plate ( 10 ").
  7. Dust powdered sugar lightly over sandwich and plate.
  8. Place 1 oz preserves in a small soufflé cup in center of plate.
