Tartar sauce consists of a mayonnaise base with
minced dill pickles and onions. This sauce can be
served with meat or seafood, but it is most often
associated with seafood.

Dill pickles, chopped
Parsley, chopped
Onions, chopped

Preparation & Procedure

- Prepare the mayonnaise
- Chop the parsley with a French knife and wash.
- Grind or chop the dill pickles - very fine, and drain.
- Grind or chop the onions - very fine, and drain.
- Have all equipment and ingredients at hand.

- Place all the ingredients in a stainless steel container and blend thoroughly using a kitchen spoon.
- Adjust seasoning and serve 2 to 2 1/2 ounces per portion in a soufflé cup with fried seafood or, in some cases, with meat such as hamburger.
