Cranberry / Apple Teriyaki Sauce

Method & Preparation

 

  1. Combine sugar, soy sauce, clam juice, chicken stock, beef stock, garlic, ginger, and pepper.  Bring to a boil.
  2. Dissolve cornstarch in sherry (use enough cornstarch to thicken sauce as desired).  Continue to cook; stirring constantly, until desired consistency is achieved.
  3. Add fresh cranberries (minced), and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add minced apples and bring to a boil.

Serve sauce in a dish or brush on chicken while cooking.
