How does dropping affect my academic record?

• Classes dropped after the first week of classes will appear on your transcript as a DR. This means dropped without prejudice and does not affect your grade point average.

• While personal concerns may necessitate dropping a class, an excessive number of drops can send a negative message to prospective employers and to transfer institutions.
