What other services can University Transfer, Advising and Career Counseling Center provide me?

  • NOTE! Academic advising
    • Counselors will assist you in identifying your college program of study and refer you to the appropriate academic advisor.
    • Counselors also advise all students who are undecided on their program and any student on academic probation.
    • NOTE! The University Transfer, Advising, and Career Counseling Center provides transfer guides and course equivalency lists for students planning on transferring to Michigan four-year colleges.
  • NOTE! Career counseling
    • Counselors can help you clarify your career goals by administering a variety of inventories and guiding you through the career decision-making process.
    • In the Career Resource Center counselors can direct you to a variety of computerized guidance programs and printed materials.
  • Counseling classes
    • Counselors offer a variety of credit classes to help students make positive and realistic life and career choices. All involve some form of group process and are especially helpful to first-time students.
