Co-op is a program which provides the opportunity for students to receive
academic credit and a letter grade for paid work experience in their field of study.
Students may work full or part-time in on-campus or off-campus positions.
Through co-op, students are employed in paid positions directly related to
their educational and career goals. Co-op students gain technical expertise and enhance
their marketability for a permanent job after graduation.
The opportunity to participate in cooperative education is dependent on the
availability of appropriate jobs in business and industry. Students must also
meet eligibility requirements.
