Online Writing Lab Links

The following links are only meant as a starting point.  Please keep in mind that using the Web is not the same as using the library; anyone with an Internet connection can publish online. Especially with electronic sources, you should evaluate what you're reading with a critical eye, asking yourself, "Who put the site together? Why? Is the site well documented?  Is the information on the site accurate?" The Writing Lab faculty have reviewed the sites that are provided here, but links to them should not be considered an endorsement of the views contained therein.

For more detailed information about evaluating and documenting sources found on the Web, see "Evaluating Web Sites: Criteria and Tools" from Cornell University's Olin & Uris Libraries.
