The English Division provides a wide
array of courses for learning how to write in the English language. From
the novice to the ambitious writer who plans to publish someday, each student
can expect quality instruction from some of the most dedicated and experienced
teachers in the field. We offer courses in basic writing, college-level
composition, research writing, and technical writing as well as several special
topics courses to introduce students to concentrated study on a specific area or
