Prerequisite: A grade of C or
better in
MATH 121
Intended for students who are
involved in a curriculum for elementary teachers.
Topics include the rational numbers, the real
numbers, algebra, and topics from geometry.
Geometer’s Sketchpad will be used to develop
geometry content. Concept development, communication
skills, both oral and written, and problem solving
skills will be addressed in accordance with the NCTM
Standards. |
