Because electronics is encountered in many different applications and the demand for new technology continues to grow, future career opportunities appear to be limitless.  Individuals who acquire a solid foundation of the basic knowledge and skills of electrical and electronics principles and are willing to continue learning will always be in demand.  Employment is expected to increase as fast as the average for occupations through the year 2008.
