Articulation (n. ar-tic'u-la'tion)
1. To earn free college credit while still in high school. 2. Also known as Tech Prep credit.
How can I earn free college or "articulated"
credit?
The following steps will help you
understand how you can earn free college credit at Henry Ford Community
College while still in high school.

Enter/enroll in a career
and/or technical program (Tech Prep) at your local high school or career
technical center.

Select this link to the HFCC Tech Prep Articulation Contract
-OR- get a copy from your counselor, teacher, or the HFCC Tech
Prep Department.

Fill out the student
information portion and ask your counselor and your teacher to sign it
for you to validate that you took Tech Prep course work.

Speak with one of the HFCC
Tech Prep faculty advisors about the program/major you are interested in
at HFCC.

Turn the completed form into
the Tech Prep office located on the third floor of the ASCC Building.

Depending on the program you
could earn up to nine free college credits at HFCC.
